Tyler Melzer, DMD

Dr. Tyler Melzer graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston where he was honored with the Senior Endowed Prize Fund for Achievement, Professionalism, and Strength of Character. His passion for dentistry and improving the health of his patients has only intensified. His drive to make sure that his patients get the most current comprehensive care as well as his philosophy of being a life-long learner, has led him to attend thousands of hours of continuing education courses.

Dr. Melzer is proud to be working through the reputable courses at the Kois Center, a prestigious continuing education institute in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Melzer is also a member of the Yellowstone Cast Gold Tucker Study Club as well as the Big Sky Tanner Study Club. He has attended an implant course at the Star Dental Institute, a gingival grafting course at the 20/20 Oral Plastic Surgery Center and courses at the Spear Institute.

He is an active member of the American Dental Society, Montana Dental Society, and the 6th District Dental Society where he was a former president.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Melzer enjoys spending time with his family and being an active member of our Gallatin Valley community. From the mountain to the rivers, you’ll be sure to fine Dr. Melzer, his wife, Molly, and their three sons, Oliver, Flint, and Forest, taking advantage of all that our beautiful state of Montana has to offer.


Brand Robinson, DDS

Dr. Brand D. Robinson was born in Glasgow, Montana and grew up in the Gallatin Valley. He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology from Idaho State University where he also played basketball on a full athletic scholarship. After graduating from Idaho State, he attended and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from The Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. There he excelled in fixed prosthetics and endodontics, and graduated Cum Laude.

Dr. Robinson has been practicing dentistry in the Gallatin Valley, as well as several church affiliated mission trips overseas, since 1984. He is an alumnus of The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and is also a member of the Blue Ribbon Seminars. He also served as a past president of the 6th District Dental Society. Dr. Robinson has spent countless hours participating in The Tucker Study Club for conservative cast gold restorations.

As a member of the Manhattan School Board, Dry Creek Bible Church, and a past volunteer Assistant Coach for the Manhattan High School varsity boys basketball team, he stays highly involved in the local community. Dr. Robinson enjoys spending time with his wife, four children, and his seven grandchildren. As an avid outdoorsman, he also spends time hunting, fishing, golfing, and anything that gets him outside.


 

Kaci Drapes, DMD

Dr. Kaci Drapes was born and raised in Butte, Montana.  She received her undergraduate degree in biology and chemistry from Montana Tech where she enjoyed being close to home.  After graduating, she went on to pursue her dental career graduating from Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry with a Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry in 2015.  While attending OHSU, she was awarded the shared presidential role for the American Dental Associate Program, Give Kids a Smile.  Dr. Drapes has a passion for children and has been involved in numerous other kid-centric programs. 

Dr. Drapes has been blessed with the opportunity to have furthered her dental skills by working in a variety of practices while following her husband’s career in the Air Force.  She was honored to be able to use her time in the Air Force Clinic, learning under specialists in several different areas of dentistry including oral surgery, prosthodontics, and pediatrics.  She was able to spend time in Tokyo, Japan, Shreveport, Louisiana, and Minot, North Dakota, honing her skills.  She deeply values providing the best dental clinic care possible, partnering with each patient to achieve their specific goals for oral health.  It is her aim and joy to provide excellent dental care while forming lasting relationships with each of her patients!

She is thrilled to be back home in Montana, putting down roots while being closer to family.  Dr. Drapes and her family enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors.  She loves to spend time with her husband, Josh, and their three children adventuring, reading, playing Legos, and coloring for hours.


Asheley, Registered Dental Hygienist

Asheley has over 15 years of experience as a dental hygienist. A Montana native, she was raised in Dillon and moved to Bozeman in 2013. She has been providing patients with exceptional dental hygiene care and takes pride in her gentle, yet thorough approach. Most importantly, she appreciates the lasting relationships she makes with her patients and their families. Asheley and her husband keep busy with their two children and enjoys photography, floating the river, traveling, trying new restaurants, and cooking in her spare time!

 

MICHELE, Registered Dental Hygienist

Michele grew up in north eastern Montana and moved to Bozeman to attend Montana State University. Michele then moved to Sheridan, Wyoming, where she finished dental hygiene school and, later, her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming. She has been a part of our practice since 2008! Michele is married and has an eleven year old son. In her free time, Michele enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cheering on the local Bozeman Bucks team, trying out the newest Crumble Cookie flavors, exploring local hiking trails, and traveling.


Danielle, Registered Dental Hygienist

Danielle was born and raised in western Washington and moved to Bozeman in 2014. Before starting her dental hygiene career, she worked as a dental assistant and receptionist for two years. She graduated from Sheridan College with her Associates degree and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Wyoming. She is passionate about dental health and enjoys building long-term relations with her patients. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding, disc golfing, reading, and spending time with her husband and family.


Dore, Dental Assistant

Dore joined the practice in September of 2016 as Dr. Brand Robinson’s dental assistant. She was born in Livingston, Montana and grew up in Shields Valley. Dore has been happily married to her husband Rhys since October 2018. Together they enjoy traveling, camping, trying new restaurants, and are thrilled to begin a new adventure as Airbnb hosts at 411 Elliot in Wilsall, MT! Favorite local spots for food include La Parrilla, Sidewall Pizza, and finishing off with Genuine Ice Cream!


LIZZIE, Dental Assistant

Lizzie recently joined our team in December of 2023 and is brand new to the dental field! She was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and moved to Bozeman in 2020. In her free time, Lizzie enjoys white water rafting, camping, and traveling. She is also a HUGE fan of hockey and is a big supporter of the local Montana State D2 hockey team. She enjoys MAP Brewery, Thai Basil, and hanging out with friends at the Pour House.


May, Dental Assistant

May grew up in the Bitterroot Valley and moved to Bozeman to attend college at Montana State University. In her spare time, she keeps busy by going on hikes with her husband and three dogs. May also loves to explore new recipes.


Nikki, Office Manager

Nikki has been a part of our team since 2009. She coordinates our patient’s treatment, insurance billing, and accounts receivables. You may even see her filling in for one of our dental assistants as she is a certified dental assistant with 23 years of experience in the dental field. Nikki is a Montana native, growing up and still living in Manhattan. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, and their three daughters, cooking, gardening, reading, camping, backpacking and hiking.


Kinlie, Office and Patient Care Coordinator

Kinlie was born and raised on her family’s ranch just outside of Manhattan, Montana. She pursued the dental field after attending the Montana Tech for one year and joined our practice in 2021. Kinlie enjoys meeting new people and building personal relationships with our patients. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking at Wade Lake, floating the Madison River, and spending time with her husband and baby.
